Update 2.3.2
This is a big update focused on opening new gameplay possibilities: a new support class, PvP improvements, global systems, and major quality-of-life changes.
🙏 New Class: Priest
Welcome the Priest!
Even though the Warrior was easier and further along, the Priest was prioritized first to introduce a support class that adds versatility to PvP and gives us more room to shape PvP into a healthier state.
The Priest is dedicated to protecting allies and preventing deaths in group combat.
- Equipment: cloth and staffs (shares gear with Mage).
- At level 60: the Priest has 8 spells (one more than other classes).
- No physical attack.
Priest Spells
- Cleanse — Removes stun with a 4-second cooldown.
- Paralyze.
- Invisibility.
- Revive.
- Area Heal — Marks a visible area and heals all allies inside when the cast resolves.
- Area Shield — Marks a visible area and grants a shield to all allies inside when the cast resolves.
- Sacred Cube — Traps an ally inside a visible sacred cube: complete immunity while inside, removes damage-over-time effects, and cleans movement effects (like roots) when released. Works like Archer’s ice cube, but can be used on any ally (or yourself).
- Light Wave — A scaling damage spell, useful in both PvE and PvP with different mana costs.
🗺️ New Map System
A new global world map has been added with a clearer visual design, zoom support (mouse wheel or two-finger gesture on mobile), and selectable maps with detailed information.
There is now a color legend:
- 🟢 Green maps (safe): NPCs can kill you, but players cannot attack each other. Items do not drop or break on death.
- 🟡 Yellow maps (unsafe): players can fight and kill each other, but items are still safe on death.
- 🔴 Red maps (lethal): players can fight each other and items can drop (or break) on death.
Selecting a map now shows:
- Map name.
- Zone color and description.
- Recommended training level.
⚠️ Important note: on maps where items are safe, if you die with a full inventory, items can still drop to the ground due to lack of space.
🏆 Global Ranking
A new top-bar icon opens the global ranking, where players can be sorted by:
- Gold
- Level
- Kills
- Clan points
- Arena points
Key changes:
- Kills now only count in Red Zones (conquest zones are evaluated through clan points).
- Deaths only count under valid conditions (for example, killing a naked player with extreme imbalance does not count).
- Deaths are now shown alongside kills.
- Blue skull: kills.
- Red skull: deaths.
- Personal clan-point ranking now only changes through kills in castles.
- Personal points from castle conquest were removed (clan points are still awarded to the clan).
- In level ranking, ties are broken by progress percentage within the same level.
⚔️ PvP Zones
- Added a portal in Nix, next to the tournament NPC, to a free-for-all battlefield with safe items.
- Enemies are now visible on the minimap in battle maps (including 1v1 arena).
- Added a new battlefield for events.
💳 PC Payments
You can now buy EOCoins from PC.
Higher-value products are generally cheaper due to reduced commission costs outside Apple/Android platforms.
⚖️ PvP Adjustments
- Paralyze duration reduced to 4 seconds.
- On-hit spells now enter cooldown when they successfully land (such as Revive and new Priest spells).
- After dying, you now auto-return to the city after some time even if the button is not pressed.
This removes wandering ghosts and endless item/entry/character blocks caused by remaining dead on top of objects. If any bug is abused for item blocking, it is forbidden and punishable.
🛠️ Quality of Life & Improvements
- Password recovery email system is working again.
- Revive no longer starts cooldown until it successfully lands.
- Teleports to Nix now place you at sensible random coordinates (Nix only for now).
- Home Rune / return-to-city while dead now sends you to sensible city zones (Nix only for now).
- Leaving 1v1 arena now automatically calls the next opponent.
- Fixed maps 33, 32, and 31 (stuck spots, collisions, unreachable resources).
⌨️ Community Requests: Keyboard & Touchscreen
For players using keyboards on touch devices, or touchscreen PCs:
- You can now show/hide the joystick in settings regardless of device type.
- You can now enable/disable keyboard input in settings regardless of device type.
